What is CampusTrack?+
CampusTrack is a cloud-based staff attendance system built specifically for schools. It uses GPS geofencing and AI face verification to track attendance without any hardware — staff check in using their own phones or computers.
Which schools is CampusTrack designed for?+
CampusTrack is built for K-12 schools, school groups, and educational institutions in the UAE. It supports single-campus and multi-campus setups, with branch-level isolation and group-wide reporting.
Do staff need to download an app?+
No. CampusTrack is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that works in any modern browser. Staff can optionally install it to their home screen for a native-app experience — no app store required.
GPS & Face Verification
How does GPS geofencing work?+
Admins define GPS zones around each campus. When staff check in, CampusTrack verifies their location is within the configured zone. Zones support custom radius, overlapping areas, and multiple campuses.
Is face verification mandatory?+
Face verification is configurable per school and per role. Schools can require it for all staff, specific roles only, or disable it entirely. The setting is controlled from the admin dashboard.
What happens if GPS or camera is not available?+
CampusTrack supports multiple work modes. If a staff member is working remotely or on field duty, different rules apply. Admins can also manually correct attendance records through the regularization workflow.
Security & Privacy
Where is our data stored?+
All data is stored on AWS infrastructure in the Mumbai (ap-south-1) region. Each school has its own isolated database. Face photos are stored in encrypted S3 buckets with automatic 60-day deletion.
Is CampusTrack compliant with UAE PDPL?+
Yes. CampusTrack is designed with UAE Personal Data Protection Law compliance in mind — data residency, encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, audit trails, and data retention policies are all built in.
Can staff from one school see data from another?+
No. Each school operates in a fully isolated database. Even within a school group, branch-level data isolation ensures that staff and admins only see data for their assigned branch.
Pricing & Billing
Is there a per-user fee?+
No. CampusTrack charges AED 500 per month per school, with unlimited staff members. There are no per-user, per-seat, or per-transaction fees.
Are there any setup or onboarding charges?+
No. Setup, configuration, data import, and staff onboarding are all included in the monthly fee. There are no one-time charges.
Can we cancel at any time?+
Yes. CampusTrack is billed monthly with no lock-in contract. You can cancel with 30 days notice and receive a full export of your data.
Technical
What browsers are supported?+
CampusTrack works on all modern browsers — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge — on both desktop and mobile. It is optimized for the latest two versions of each browser.
Does CampusTrack integrate with existing school systems?+
CampusTrack supports Google and Microsoft SSO out of the box, so staff log in with the same accounts they already use. Custom integrations with SIS or HR systems can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
What happens during internet outages?+
As a PWA, CampusTrack caches essential data locally. Staff can still view their recent attendance and schedules. Check-in data syncs automatically when connectivity is restored.
