FAQ — CampusTrack Staff HRMS and Operations
CampusTrack is a school-fit staff HRMS, performance, and operations platform built specifically for schools and campuses. It covers staff attendance (GPS + AI face verification), leave, shifts, approvals, payroll readiness, staff documents, teacher performance, lesson observation, quality workflows, and campus dashboards — with no hardware required.
CampusTrack is built for nurseries, K-12 schools, school groups, and universities in the UAE. It supports single-campus and multi-campus setups, with branch-level isolation and group-wide reporting.
No. CampusTrack is focused on the staff side of school operations. It does not manage student attendance, student assessment, admissions, student behavior, parent communication, or student ERP/SIS workflows — it sits beside your existing student ERP and owns the staff layer those systems were never built for.
Yes. Beyond attendance and HRMS, CampusTrack includes teacher performance tracking (reviews, improvement actions, leadership visibility), lesson observation workflows with evidence capture, and quality workflows that keep tasks, approvals, and compliance evidence connected.
No. CampusTrack is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that works in any modern browser. Staff can optionally install it to their home screen for a native-app experience — no app store required.
A supervisor records the check-in on their behalf, and it is flagged as a manual entry rather than presented as a verified one. Keeping that distinction visible is what stops the attendance record quietly becoming a mixture of verified and asserted data.
Yes. Consent to biometric processing is separable, and attendance can still be recorded without it. A deployment that only works if everyone consents has not really obtained consent.
No. Location is checked at the moment of check-in against the campus geofence, and there is no continuous tracking through the working day. That is a design decision rather than a feature we have not built.
Check-ins cache on the device and sync when connectivity returns. The recorded time is the check-in time rather than the sync time, which matters where the two can be far apart.
CampusTrack holds the employee record — staff attendance, leave, approvals, payroll readiness and compliance. Sync School 360 is our sister platform for the student record: admissions, student information, assessment and parent communication. Schools running both get one ecosystem; schools needing one are not obliged to take the other.
GPS & Face Verification
Admins define GPS zones around each campus. When staff check in, CampusTrack verifies their location is within the configured zone. Zones support custom radius, overlapping areas, and multiple campuses.
Face verification is configurable per school and per role. Schools can require it for all staff, specific roles only, or disable it entirely. The setting is controlled from the admin dashboard.
CampusTrack supports multiple work modes. If a staff member is working remotely or on field duty, different rules apply. Admins can also manually correct attendance records through the regularization workflow.
Security & Privacy
All data is stored securely on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with PDPL-compliant safeguards under UAE PDPL Article 22. Each school has its own isolated database. Face audit images are encrypted at rest and retained per a configurable automatic-deletion policy aligned with UAE PDPL retention principles.
CampusTrack is designed with UAE Personal Data Protection Law requirements in mind — cross-border transfer safeguards, encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, audit trails, and data retention policies are all built in.
No. Each school operates in a fully isolated database. Even within a school group, branch-level data isolation ensures that staff and admins only see data for their assigned branch.
Pricing & Billing
No. CampusTrack charges AED 949 per month per school (annual promotion — standard price AED 1,599; up to 200 staff) with no per-user fees. our cloud infrastructure provider hosting (~AED 350/month) is billed separately on all plans. The Free plan covers up to 50 staff at no software cost.
No. Setup, configuration, data import, and staff onboarding are all included. There are no one-time charges.
Yes. CampusTrack is billed monthly with no lock-in contract. You can cancel with 30 days notice and receive a full export of your data.
Yes. The Free plan includes GPS attendance for up to 50 staff at no software cost. our cloud infrastructure provider hosting (~AED 350/month) is billed separately and applies to all plans — Starter, Growth, and Full HRMS. It is designed as a zero-risk replacement for biometric hardware.
Technical
CampusTrack works on all modern browsers — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge — on both desktop and mobile. It is optimized for the latest two versions of each browser.
CampusTrack supports Google and Microsoft SSO out of the box, so staff log in with the same accounts they already use. Custom integrations with SIS or HR systems can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
As a PWA, CampusTrack caches essential data locally. Staff can still view their recent attendance and schedules. Check-in data syncs automatically when connectivity is restored.
