How is EOSB / gratuity calculated under UAE Labour Law?
For each full year of service: 21 days’ basic salary for the first five years, then 30 days’ basic salary for each subsequent year. Capped at the equivalent of two years’ total salary. Partial years are pro-rated. Basic salary excludes housing, transport, and other allowances. CampusTrack shows every assumption and step.
What if an employee leaves during probation?
Termination during probation does not entitle the employee to gratuity for the probation period. The calculator handles this rule automatically and flags any disputed dates for HR review before final settlement.
How does it handle limited vs unlimited contracts?
Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 simplified contract structures. The calculator applies the current rules and surfaces edge cases (early termination, mutual exit, contract end) for HR confirmation.
