How is workforce management different from HRMS?
A workforce management platform focuses on the operational layer — attendance, shifts, location verification, multi-site coordination. HRMS covers the full lifecycle including payroll. CampusTrack covers the operational layer with light HR lifecycle (onboarding, leave, offboarding) and produces payroll-ready exports for your existing payroll system. Not a full HCM by design.
Does it work in low-connectivity environments?
Yes. Check-ins cache locally on the phone if connectivity is poor and sync when back online. Face matching is server-side so older / cheaper phones work fine. Schools and construction firms with intermittent connectivity run on CampusTrack today.
What about industries we have not built for explicitly?
The core operational layer (GPS, face match, shift schedules, leave, multi-site, reports) is industry-neutral. Industry-specific presets exist for schools, construction, security, healthcare, and corporate; other industries adopt the closest fit and customise the rules.
How does it handle multi-region staff (UAE + KSA + Bahrain)?
Each tenant can have multiple sites in different countries. Per-country rules (weekly off pattern, prayer break, public holidays, labour-law specifics) are configured per site. Reporting can roll up or down across regions.
Is the live dashboard available on mobile too?
Yes. The supervisor / manager view is mobile-first, like the staff view. Branch leads typically use it on their phone for the morning attendance check and to approve shift swaps during the day.
