Frequently asked questions

How is this different from HRMS?
A workforce management platform focuses on the operational layer: attendance, shifts, location verification, and compliance reporting for multi-site staff. CampusTrack covers that core operational layer plus light HR lifecycle (onboarding, leave, offboarding). It is not a full HCM — payroll processing remains in your existing system, and we feed WPS-ready exports in.
Does it work for construction sites without good network coverage?
Yes. The check-in flow caches locally on the phone if connectivity is poor, then syncs when back online. Face matching runs server-side so older / cheaper Android phones work fine. We have schools and construction firms running on low-end devices today.
Can we use this for security guards on rotating posts?
Yes — this is one of our core verticals. Each post is geofenced, the guard checks in via phone at the start of the shift with face verification, and patrol points can be added as secondary geofences during the shift. Multi-post coverage shows in the supervisor dashboard live.
What is the typical roll-out time?
Single-site, up to 100 staff: 1 week to live. Multi-site (5+ locations or campuses): 2–3 weeks including geofence setup, staff face enrolment, and supervisor training. We provide the migration scripts to import staff from Excel, MS-HR, fingerprint systems, or legacy HR platforms.
